Nintendo Co. shares rose on Friday to their highest in a month after a smooth debut of Switch, a hybrid console that aims to bring together the worlds of mobile and home gaming.

Retailers in Tokyo and Sydney began selling a limited number of units early, while fans in New York and Toronto waited in the cold to buy the new devices at midnight sale events. Demand easily outstripped supply, with most retailers exhausting both pre-order and same-day inventory within minutes or hours, signaling Nintendo is on track to reach its goal of shipping 2 million units by the end of the month.

Shares rose as much as 4.1 per cent, also the biggest gain in a month, as analysts expressed optimism the launch was going well. Prior to Friday, Nintendo’s stock had declined for four-straight days as some early negative reviews and concerns about potential defects unnerved investors.

“There’s a sigh of relief today that the actual launch has gone smoothly so far,” said Atul Goyal, an analyst at Jefferies Group. “We have to wait and see if any major issue comes up by the end of the week.”

Nintendo’s late foray into making mobile games for smartphones has only just started, and the Wii U console was a flop, making it even more important that the new console succeeds. The new gadget is essentially a tablet sporting wireless controllers that can be used anywhere, on its own in the park or plugged into the living room TV.

So far, reviews are almost evenly split between positive and negative appraisals. Gamespot called it a “technical marvel,” while the Verge sang praises of its launch title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. IGN bemoaned compromises in the hardware to merge home and portable gaming, while Arstechnica said the machine’s battery life is too short for long trips.

A line of about 90 people snaked through a stairwell at Bic Camera Inc.’s shop in Shibuya before it opened, mostly full of people who had not pre-ordered the new device. Among them was Yuki Adachi, 26, who was visiting from Osaka.

“While this early adoption phase is important to build sales momentum, it can only take the Switch so far,” said Piers Harding-Rolls, head of games research at IHS Markit. “Convincing a wider audience to commit to the platform will take some work. A mixture of compelling content and features, price point, word of mouth and effective marketing will all need to come together to engage this broader audience.”

U.S. House Republicans release bill to repeal Obamacare

House Republicans on Monday released their long-awaited plan for unraveling former President Barack Obama’s health care law, a package that would scale back the government’s role in helping people afford coverage and likely leave more Americans uninsured.

House committees planned to begin voting on the 123-page legislation Wednesday, launching what could be the year’s defining battle in Congress and capping seven years of Republican vows to repeal the 2010 law. Though GOP leaders expect a boost from the backing of the Trump administration, divisions remain and GOP success is not ensured.

The plan would repeal the statute’s unpopular fines on people who don’t carry health insurance. It would replace income-based subsidies the law provides to help millions of Americans pay premiums with age-based tax credits that may be skimpier for people with low incomes. Those payments would phase out for higher-earning people.

The bill would continue Obama’s expansion of Medicaid to additional low-earning Americans until 2020. Beginning then, states adding Medicaid recipients would no longer receive the additional federal funds the statute has provided.

Supreme Court of Canada won’t hear appeal by Donald Trump, developers

Canada’s top court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling in favour of investors who had launched a lawsuit alleging they were misled by U.S. President Donald Trump and a real estate development firm.

The Supreme Court of Canada said it will not hear a leave to appeal by the defendants in the legal saga — which include the U.S. president, developer Talon International and its former executives. No reasons were given by the court for the dismissal.

The plaintiffs — warehouse worker Sarbjit Singh and homemaker Se Na Lee — both sued the brash billionaire and Talon, alleging that they were sold units in the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Toronto under false pretences. The hotel is not owned by Trump but licenses his name and is operated by one of his companies.

How do you compete with a restaurant at President Donald Trump’s hotel down the road from the White House? Two Washington restaurateurs argue you can’t — and have sued him over it.

The plaintiffs are Khalid Pitts and Diane Gross. They allege unfair competition under local law and have filed a lawsuit against Trump personally and the Trump Old Post Office LLC, which operates the Trump International Hotel. The two plaintiffs own Cork Wine Bar, which is in the Logan Circle neighborhood, about a mile and a half away from the hotel. Cork Wine Bar is a well-regarded brick-walled market and wine bar that serves New American small plates.

FBI Director James Comey went to Capitol Hill Thursday to brief the Gang of Eight members of Congress on President Trump’s wiretapping allegations, as well as other national security matters, CBS News’ Nancy Cordes reports.

Sean Spicer says White House is “not aware” of any Justice Department investigation into Trump

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Thursday struggled with the question of whether President Donald Trump is under investigation by the Department of Justice, saying in a lengthy exchange with reporters that the White House is “not aware” of any investigation involving the president.

On Wednesday, Spicer was asked about the issue in the wake of Mr. Trump’s allegations about being wiretapped at Trump Tower during the 2016 election. He replied that there’s “obviously a lot of concern” about the issue.

It is not good to steal and as a matter of fact you that sell the stolen goods are not different from the thief yourself. If you have a connection with people who steal goods, then consider not starting a stolen goods business. This is in no way good for a true Christian

11. Illegal Arms Business

If you have not been licensed to sell arms, and you go ahead to start the business, then you are doing the wrong thing as a Christian. This is because when you do this, you risk selling your arms to armed robbers, and miscreants.

12. Internet Fraud

It is highly unacceptable in the sight of God that you engage in internet fraud as a good Christian. This activity does not in any way draw you closer to God. Rather take you far away.

“Do not defraud or rob your neighbor…” (Leviticus 19:13)

13. Cosmetic Surgery Business

Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made; therefore having to start a cosmetic surgery business may counter that.

14. Tattoo Shop

As a good Christian it becomes important that you know that tattoo business is not a good one. This is because of the weird reasons most people have tattoos and some of the weird places the tattoos are placed. And it is not acceptable in the Bible.

15. Human Trafficking Business

It is pure wickedness not to only do this but even to think of it. What good Christian would possibly sell a fellow human? It is a very bad move for a Christian to sell people.

16. Abortion Business

For people in the medical line, you might have a lot of experience about this and it might be giving a lot of money to those doing it but as a believer there is always going to be a discerning of the Holy Spirit in your heart to not do it because it is a sin and will not please the Lord. It is a grave business to engage in as a good Christian.

17. Tobacco Farming

Tobacco is harmful to the human body. If you have a passion for farming, then you must ensure that you do not add tobacco farming to one of your crops.

18. Crack Business

You should not go into any business of selling crack, Whether it is legal or illegal it does more harm to your Christian faith than good.

19. Cannabis Farming

The Christian faith prohibits this type of business and you must learn not to engage in this if you do not want to spoil your relationship with God.

20. Cigar Lounge

Much more than the fact that cigarette is dangerous to human health, the Christian faith prohibits such. This is because of the effect it leaves and the immorality that may be committed thereafter.

There are the 20 businesses that a good Christian must not into.

The Bible says “The plans of the diligent lead to profits as surely as haste leads to poverty. (Proverbs 21:15)

So this is to tell you that your plans are not permitted to fail and they will work. The Bible also says that the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short.

So just do what is right and God will reward you in due season.

You see, the Bible says, “Righteousness exalts a Nation, sin is a reproach (  Proverbs 14:34  ).

So Righteousness is what births Greatness, is what brings about might and Prosperity, doing the ungodly and unrighteous will only bring about sin and reproach to any nation and any people, Let me share you an experience I had, I use to know a woman in my community, she sells Beverages, Drink, Bread and all that you need to buy in a Supermarket, I love this woman, because she is a Christian, right from the way, she relates and talk with me, you will know she’s a christian, but one day like that, I just realize she sells Alcohol, I was so disappointed, it was so painful, for whatsoever reason, it is very wrong for a believer to sell Alcohol, you are driving people to hell by what you sell to them, God is not happy, heaven is not please, because men are losing their soul just because of what she sells, and this is wickedness, because it is an indirect way of promoting the Kingdom of Darkness.

We must beware, and be watchful, God does not what you to lose him in the bid of trying to acquire wealth, trust and Love God more than any other thing in Life, even more than yourself, for the Love of Money is the root of all Evil.
